Danielle's Story
Danielle rediscovered her love of art during a very dark and difficult time in her life. While recovering from serious injuries resulting from a head on collision with a drunk driver, she felt compelled to pick up a paint brush and express her feelings with watercolors. During this time, she was also diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. She was feeling very defeated and lost. Art was her light through this difficult time. She decided she wanted to explore oil painting with it's rich colors and depth.

With each brush stroke, she was discovering new meaning and purpose. It made her see the beauty in life again and ignited a passion to share that beauty with others. She hopes her work will inspire others and help them see the joy and beauty of life. To get lost in those magic moments that make life worth living.
Artist Statement
Amidst the darkness of adversity, I rediscovered my passion for art. Struggling to overcome injuries from a head-on collision with a drunk driver and grappling with a subsequent autoimmune disease diagnosis, I found solace and strength in the strokes of my paintbrush. Watercolors became my voice, guiding me towards healing and renewal.
Driven by an inner compulsion, I delved into the rich world of oil painting, each layer of pigment revealing new depths of meaning and purpose. Art became my guiding light, illuminating the beauty and joy inherent in life, and reigniting hope within my heart.
This newfound passion ignited within me a desire to share the profound inspiration of art with others. Through my work, I seek to uplift and inspire, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the magic moments that define our existence. My explorations often center on the interconnectedness of nature, animals, and the enduring human spirit.
Mother Nature, with her boundless grace and nurturing spirit, often finds her way into my pieces, as I explore themes of the divine feminine. I am captivated by the timeless wisdom and strength embodied by the feminine archetype, and I seek to celebrate and honor these qualities in my art.
In my creative journey, I am drawn to the boundless possibilities of mixed media, constantly seeking out new techniques and materials to add depth and layers to my work. Experimentation is a fundamental aspect of my process, leading to unexpected discoveries and enriching my artistic expression.
